Back from the "Grave"

I have been missing in action so to speak. Surgery. Procedures. Yada-yada. I need to share a couple of things and promise that the blog is up and running again. I have deleted all past posts as proof that a new leaf has been turned. As i continue to switch over to full time laptop use I will add documents and programs to my blog. Some have asked for my "step by step" worksheet explaining how to use Google docs, peer editing, and teacher editing. I will upload that soon, so if you want to take a gander, it will be here for your perusal.

I also have to share my "delicious" story for all. If you have sensitive eyes or delicate sensibilities, LOOK AWAY! At Tuesday's (October 21) Metronet we learned how to use the delicious website. Very informative as usual. The only problem was the explanation. I am still giggling about it. As Karen (sorry to put you on glass) was explaining the use of the website she was teaching the "class" how to create our own button for our browser to quickly access our delicious bookmarks. After the button was created she told us to all "click her delicious button." The double entendre had me holding my sides immediately. Not only did she ask us to "click our buttons," but she did so numerous times. I had to excuse myself at one point. I couldn't hold myself. Too funny. I could not stop thinking about teaching my freshman to figure out how to click their delicious buttons. Don't think I will be teaching that lesson any time soon. The creation of delicious buttons will have to wait for a less immature audience. Maybe since I was the only one giggling at the double meaning, I belong in the immature category too. At the very least, I have been getting a good chuckle and funny story to share with my family and friends (don't worry Karen I have changed the names to protect the innocent).

Good luck clicking!
